LOADPOST XPRESS 1.0

Thanks for choosing LOADPOST XPRESS© by DRD Transporttion Software. Our company has been serving the transportation industry for twelve years. All of our software and code is designed and written in the US by people that were in the trucking business.

LOADPOST XPRESS© was designed for use with our Dr Dispatch software, or can be used as a stand alone to quickly organize and post your available loads and equipment. The amount time that is saved on a daily basis is dramatic when compared to manual entry.

Since LOADPOST XPRESS© can be used without any other software, each PC must have the product installed and the setup properly configured.

Since we are using the internet to log on to web services, you MUST have an ACTIVE connection to the internet. If you have cable, DSL or any other form of broadband internet, you basically are connected all the time and you will NOT need to do anything special. If you use dial up and have a phone line connected to your PC, you must connect to the internet before “posting” loads.

INSTALLATION (Back To Top)

After completing the purchase process from our secure Buy Now form, you will be provided with a download link and password to install the product. .

You can either Run or Save the file. Choosing Run is the easiest, but if you prefer to Save, we suggest saving to the desktop so the install file can be easily found. The filename is loadpost.exe.

Run the loadpost.exe to install the software. It is best to leave all install options at Default as you press the Next button to continue the install process. When finished, the program will open - if you have problems, there will be a desktop shortcut as well as a LoadPost folder under Start > All Programs.

The first time LOADPOST XPRESS© is run, it will advise you that ‘it will initialize the tables for use’, press OK to allow this. The main screen should come up and you are ready to move on to the Setup.

SETUP (Back To Top)

There several things that must be setup for the software to create the needed files and send them to the web sites.
· You must have ACTIVE posting accounts with each web service you intend to post with.
· INTERNET TRUCKSTOP ®: You must supply the first 6-8 characters of company name and the call back phone number so they can identify who you are when they process the file.
· GETLOADED.COM ®: you must supply the ‘user name’ for your account in setup.

Open the file->setup and we will go thru the setup of each posting account.

INTERNET TRUCKSTOP (Back To Top)

1) INTERNET TRUCKSTOP does not require much info in the setup screen. The ‘Importer ID’ will only be needed if requested by INTERNET TRUCKSTOP. If you have a large number of agents, they will issue an ID to help identify each agent. Leave this blank unless instructed other wise.
2) Company Abbreviation must be filled in with the first 6-10 characters of your company name.
3) ITS identifies who you are when you send a file by your Call Back number provided in the Load/Eequipment data in the export form. If you own Dr Dispatch, this will be pulled from your company data file for you each time. If you do NOT own Dr Dispatch, you will need to supply your phone number on each Load/Equipment record that you enter.
4) You will need to put your company abbreviation in the Truck & Brokerage tabs if you intend to post both loads and trucks.

GETLOADED.COM (Back To Top)

1) Once again, very little data is required for setup. You must supply your User Name from your actual posting account in the provided field at bottom.
2) GETLOADED.COM is careful to ensure that any data you post is accurate. If you have a load date that is older than today’s date, it will not post. You can’t pick a load up today that loaded yesterday! Make sure you have proper pick up dates on your loads, regardless of hand entering or importing from DRD.
3) You will need to put your company abbreviation in the Truck & Brokerage tabs if you intend to post both loads and trucks.

DATa FILE EXPORT

1) The DATA export only requires a path for your PC to write or store the export file. This file can be imported into DAT by opening DAT partners and pressing the Import button. We suggest you press the Browse button and select Desktop, again, this is the easiest place to find a saved file.

2) You will likely need to create and save a template in DAT, so it will know which fields in the file correspond to the data fields… such as origin, destination and pick date. Number the fields 1-21 from top to bottom.

INTEGRATING WITH DR. DISPATCH SOFTWARE (Back To Top)

1) Go to the Dr Dispatch tab on the setup form and simply place a checkmark in the Use with Dr Dispatch 3.0 box.
2) Press the Import Equip List from DRD button to instantly import your equipment types from DRD. Each PC will have the types put in by that user. It is likely you will have some DRD users with different spellings for a given trailer (REEFER vs REFER).

3) After importing the equip list you, MUST tell the system what each web posting service expects for all your equipment types. See screen below for examples. The drop down lists provided for ITS, GETLOADED and DAT are their actual list of trailer types … you simply pick the one that describes your trailer type.
4) Once each of your equip entries has a selected value across all three columns, you are done with the integration …UNLESS you add new trailer types in DRD - you must add them in LOADPOST XPRESS as well.

HOW TO USE LOADPOST XPRESS

We have made this software very easy to use. Make sure you have your user names and company abbreviations entered properly in setup before proceeding.

This tutorial will be divided into two sections: one for using with Dr Dispatch and the other for stand alone.

USING WITH DR.DISPATCH TRANSPORTATION SOFTWARE (Back To Top)

After activating the integration that was explained in the instructions above, you are ready to use LoadPost Xpress.

Post Loads: Go to Post->Post Loads. This will open the screen to Enter/Import loads from Dr Dispatch and send them to the web sites.
The ‘Dr Dispatch Import” button should be visible in the upper left portion of the screen. Press this button to import all available loads from the brokerage in Dr Dispatch.

NOTE: Any loads missing required info will have RED in the pro # field as well as the fields missing the info. You must have valid pick & drop dates. Any date that comes over as ‘12/31/1899’ is the result of the system trying to convert a blank pick/drop date to a real date. The following fields: Origin, st, dest, St, Pick/Drop dates, Equipment types and your Callback numbers are required before exporting.

NOTE: After importing loads from DRD, you will be warned ‘x number of loads have improper equipment types’, if the trailer type on the load is not in the LoadPost Xpress table in setup.
You have the ability to use the weight & length fields if you have partials.

The Pick/Drop dates, Equip type and LTL can be edited in the grid, however we recommend using the ‘Edit/Add loads’ button to change any data on the loads prior to exporting.

Once you have the load data looking the way you want, you are ready to export. You do NOT have to export all loads. If you want to exclude any loads from posting, simply remove the checkmark from the ‘Export” box using a double click.

Press the ‘Post’ button to start the process. You will get an ‘Export To Web’ screen which you place checkmarks in the boxes for the services to which you wish to post . Finally press the ‘Post’ button to let LoadPost Xpress connect to the internet and send your loads instantly for posting. When it finishes, the small export screen will disappear and all the loads marked to export will be gone as well. The loads are posted. It may take as much as 10 min for them to show depending on the amount of activity on the web servers.

The ‘Show All’ button on the export screen is a very useful tool. After loads are exported, it appears to be gone, but it’s simply hidden. To see all loads you have posted previously, simply press the button. You may use the ‘Sort By” selections in the lower left to help sort and find what you need. You can RE POST these loads by simply removing the checkmark from the ‘Exported’ field using a double click. This makes it simple to repost loads for any reason. By changing the Pick/drop dates, an old load can be re posted for future use.

Post Trucks: Go to Post->Post Trucks. This will open the screen to Enter/Import trucks from Dr Dispatch and send them to the web sites.
The ‘Dr Dispatch Import” button should be visible in the upper left portion of the screen. Press this button to pull over all loads that are assigned or were dispatched . Have a drop date equal to OR greater then today’s date from Dr Dispatch trucking.

NOTE: Any loads missing required info will have RED in the pro # field as well as the fields missing the info. You must have valid drop dates. TROUBLESHOOTING (Back To Top)

NOTE: Some posting services require a delivery date and some do not. If you have a delivery date, you can use it, if not leave it blank.

The setup screen is very important to ensure proper operation and must be done properly. Make sure you have a valid callback number for your loads to export. Stand alone users will need to enter this on each load/truck. Dr Dispatch users will not need to enter anything as it picks it up from your DRD databases.

User names for GETLOADED are important and are case sensitive, pay attention to caps lock on this part.

Adding your trailer types and selecting the proper trailer type for each posting service is critical for LoadPost Xpress to operate properly. This is easy to do, but you must pay attention to this area.

Any kind of ‘Log in; errors will likely be due to invalid user names or not having an active internet connection.
